Local pickup is in Severna Park. When you purchase something you are required to leave a cell phone number. As soon as your order is ready you will receive a text message letting you know it is done and ready for pickup along with the address you are picking up from. From there you have 3 business days to pickup your order or you will be charged shipping. I work out of my home and space if very tight, therefore it leaves no room to store pieces that are finished, unfortunately. You do not have to come during business hours to pick your piece up. I am happy to leave your piece on the front porch if it is after hours (I am a single mom so my attention from 3:30 pm on goes to my daughter). This area of my business has been the most challenging as I want to save shipping charges for everyone local but it becomes more time consuming than making the piece itself trying to coordinate schedules with so many different people. Please understand when you choose local pickup you are agreeing to the 3 day grace period as stated above.
Responsibility for loss and damage is based on the USPS rules. Every order under $100 has limited insurance, so if an item is lost or damaged you must file a claim with them directly using your shipping information. When you choose shipping you are agreeing to use this carrier, and the responsibility for the item passes to you (the buyer) as soon as it is handed off to the post office.
Once an order ships an automatic email is sent to you with tracking information.
